Registry Consulting is an independent information site, not a law firm, and does not give legal advice. Guides are general information about U.S. trademark law.

Quick answer: Go to the USPTO's TSDR site, enter your serial or registration number and open the Status tab. It shows the current status, the date of the latest action and any deadlines. The Documents tab has office actions and notices.

TSDR (Trademark Status and Document Retrieval) is the USPTO's free public tool for tracking any US trademark filing.

This is general information, not legal advice. For advice on your situation, talk to a licensed trademark attorney.

Steps

  1. Find your serial number (8 digits) on your filing receipt.
  2. Open TSDR and enter the number.
  3. Read the Status tab: current status, status date and, if any, response deadlines.
